No, but suggest on the label that food is probably genetically engineered and the effects that have on humans.

@9GMBKG6Peace and Freedom from Alabama  answered…2yrs2Y

yes, they should because there could be stuff in the item or product that someone can't have because they are allergic to them.

@9FGGFZDPeace and Freedom from Colorado  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, consumers have a right to know what is in their food, and Yes, I trust the science of responsible food engineering but I don’t trust the motives of the food companies selling them

I believe the people should be able to know what is and isn't genetically modified for health reasons but in the end of the day most food we eat are GMO. Most fruits and veggies did not look like what we eat today thousands of years ago and its better that way.

@94XNHJPPeace and Freedom from California  answered…3yrs3Y

It would be nice to know what foods are GMO and it should be recommended but I wouldn’t require it

while its good for you and GMOs are the future, label them just to give people peace of mind as adjustment takes place.

@8WRKJSYPeace and Freedom from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

I think that they shouldn't make processed food because all its doing is killing off people because people can get addicted to sugar and get diabetes and then end up dying.

@8SJ8853Peace and Freedom from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes they should say what they are putting into their food like vaccines which we know what is in that I think we should know what is being used on our food maybe mark it as experimental so people who are willing to eat said food pay less for it and they can be "guinea pigs"

@8RWNXLBPeace and Freedom from New Jersey  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, consumers have the right to know what they’re eating but producers should not be allowed to patent food.

@8RSCMFZPeace and Freedom from North Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

I believe that there's a lot of things we don't have all the answers to yet but I agree that gmos are not the worst thing we can put into our bodies noir do I believe they are that bad, but the point of them is to be able to sustain enough food now that we live in a world where most people don't grow their food. without gmo's mass producers of food business/industries rely on making money and good products for everybody so in order to give the same experience for more people at a lower price and a sustainably amount of food gmo's are more good than bad.

I think that consumers have a right to know whats in the food they are buying but so do the people eating the food, as it affects them.

 @5TNN3ZKPeace and Freedomfrom Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, we have selectively bred crops for thousands of years, I trust the science of responsible food engineering, and consumers have a right to know what is in their food

Too many loop holes where someone gets one ingredient in a product that’s gmo free and claims gmo free. I’d prefer a label that shows where it comes from and make sure that it’s up to our safety standards

@8CL7ZP8Peace and Freedom from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

Every organism in our world is or has been genetically modified. I think that producers should explain how and/or why they genetically modified something as to lessen the fear of the acronym GMO

@8CHLFQLPeace and Freedom from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but people should be more educated about GMOs to be against the unfounded stigma to the scientific community.

@98BYT7XPeace and Freedom from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

People deserve to know EVERY ingredient they are consuming! It should be added

@97BN7ZMPeace and Freedom from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

yes, but we should make it public knowledge what gmos actually are because most people only dislike them due to ignorance and fearmongering

@97B86G4Peace and Freedom from North Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

I believe that foods containing genetically modified organisms should be labelled, not necessarily because of any nutritional or allergenic differences, but rather so that those who do not wish to consume any GMOs, for any reason they may have, can keep to their dietary preferences without unknowingly consuming something they do not want.

@8M2YYGZPeace and Freedom from Missouri  answered…5yrs5Y

@8LGJ9VHPeace and Freedom from Pennsylvania  answered…5yrs5Y

Being honest GMOs should be banned, genetically engineered foods are not good.

@8GR9QYDPeace and Freedom from Tennessee  answered…5yrs5Y

Producers should be allowed to label however they want and let the market decide the outcome.

@8FRT2Q2Peace and Freedom from Michigan  answered…5yrs5Y

I don't really know anything about this so I can't give a good response.

@92QVVMVPeace and Freedom from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

food should be free because there is enough for the whole world, no one should suffer from starving
