Currently, GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) foods in the United States are not classified differently by the FDA and do not require labeling. Although no reports of ill effects from GMO foods have been documented, advocacy groups such as Greenpeace and the Organic Consumers Association argue that past studies cannot be trusted because they were sponsored by pro-GMO companies and do not measure the long-term effects on humans, the environment, and nature. Opponents argue that labeling adds an unfounded stigma over organic foods and that if a nutritional or allergenic difference were found, current FDA regulations would already require a label.

I honestly can't give you an honest answer! World hunger probably isn't ending anytime soon. good day to u sir.
@9D6WHSV2yrs2Y
Yes, people have a right to know that it is genetically modified, but they should still be produced and they are an important technology that the world needs to continue feeding itself.
@922ZKCQ3yrs3Y
Depends if said GMO is safe for the public or not.
@8S6QLY84yrs4Y
only if they’re harmful to people
@8R5RPQYLibertarian4yrs4Y
No, GMO's are just genetially modified organisms. They are just organisms with different pieces of DNA that make them bigger and more plump. Are you scared of your own DNA? No, so you shouldn't be scared of this DNA.
@8N5L5CL5yrs5Y
yes, but make sure the GMO is real and not a lie
@8N29YDF5yrs5Y
I'm perfectly fine with GMOs, but people do have the right to know what they're putting in their body.
@8M5HDCM5yrs5Y
No GMOs are going to help end world hunger. Organic food does not nearly create as much crop and is not practical. We have been selectively breeding crops for thousands of years which is how we got corn. Adding a label will make people weary of it. We should instead educate people and debunk those misconceptions.

I don't really know much about this topic.
@8DVFCB65yrs5Y
No, Gmos are the solution to ending world hunger and they have been around for thousands of years
@8CSXMZ75yrs5Y
Depends on the specific GMO.
@9VTFXL84mos4MO
Yes, but only if the government supports programs that educate people about how safe and important GMOs are.
@9CHT42J2yrs2Y
Consumers should have knowledge of what they are consuming.
@9BJHLR3Libertarian2yrs2Y
GMO free food is a marketing ploy designed to convince under educated people to buy into that brand. GMO the use of genetically modified organisms is used to produce stronger animals and every animals genetics is continually evolving
@99QG7SD2yrs2Y
I don't have much of a say in this conversational topic.
@99PRW4J2yrs2Y
Food with the GMO label is the same as food without it they use it to get more people to buy their products.
@99MSWTJ2yrs2Y
Yes people have the right to know what’s in their food. I trust the science of responsible food engineering but I don’t trust the motives of the food companies selling them.
@98WGJ9P2yrs2Y
Yes I trust science of responsible food engineering but I don’t trust movies of food companies trying to sell them. Also consumers have the right to know what’s in their food.
@98S7VHMRepublican2yrs2Y
No, but non-GMO products should be labeled.
@8MF6FNF5yrs5Y
I dont really care about this topic and i have no opinion in this
@8M52DRF5yrs5Y
