Get rid of genetically engineered foods as they are harmful to the human body and to the environment.

 @9HJS338 from Arizona  answered…1yr1Y

there is not a consensus on the definition of genetically engineered... so first you need to define that. every crop ever grown by any farmer anywhere was genetically altered through selection and breeding etc. this question is kind of stupid.

Not highly informed about this topic however anything to ending world hunger is what I support.

 @9D476LFRepublican from Arizona  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, because people deserve to know what they are eating and not all people trust the people making there foods.

 @9C58BRY from Arizona  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9BYMHSQRepublican from Arizona  answered…2yrs2Y

despite the fact that consumers should have the right to know what they are buying the government has no right to regulate private businesses.

 @95B6DK7 from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

Merely labeling food GMO fails to distinguish between hybridized vegetables and vegetables modified with animal or non-plant genes. Need more than the label of GMO

GMOs should be banned by corporations, esp. those with criminal records.

 @Azerah from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

All ingredients in a product should be clearly listed, but stating something as being genetically modified shouldn’t be a requirement

 @92XKT7X from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, because everyone should know what is in their food, but I have nothing against GMOs

 @92KR3Y9Libertarian from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

GMO's do not bother me however people have huge dietary restrictions and some gmo's could kill them.

 @92GCJ96 from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

Honesty in advertising should matter. If they claim not to unclude them they should be exposed. Over time they will likely have competition saying they don't have GMOs and we will see how willing people are to pay more to avoid them. Lately our federal agencies have not shown themselves to be more trustworthy than corporations.

 @8Z77QX9 from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but I would prefer to ban GMOs and consumers have a right to know what is in their food. Every thing that touched altered and or some how manipulated the food they digest should be made known to the consumers.

 @8YY5K66 from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, the Information should be readily available to anyone who wants it but until there is substantial evidence of something being affecting consumers, then GMOs are fine

 @8XMNX9R from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8XDQKD5 from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

You as an individual have the right to know what you are eating. If a private company decides not to tell you what’s in your food then take your money some where else.

 @8XBVDBX from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8X67HVY from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but the labels can be removed after extensive research has been done to show both children and adults are not affected.

 @8VX34HJ from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, for anything that's crossing state lines. Within a state, the state should be allowed to decide for itself.

 @8VF38PW from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

NO that’s terrible, fake food and putting things not healthy in our foods , putting things that kill us over time .

 @8VDTXQ7 from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8V6XQ8X from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

Should not be required but people should know what they are eating if they want to know

 @8SGFHGVCommunist from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

There hasn't been any solid evidence that GMOs are particularly harmful, so I don't particularly care whether GMO or NONGMO products are explicitly labeled or not.

 @8SD95PJ from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, why? because it's better to tell which food is grown naturally and which is genetically modified.

 @8S6MG5Q from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8RSV9GN from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

no, because almost every food that you have eaten in your life has been genetically modified

 @8RJ39JN from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

GMO’s aren’t bad, so i don’t see why this would be totally necessary.

 @8QND69JProgressive from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, if the modifications have been found to be carcinogenic, or other health issues are involved.

 @8Q5C38R from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

No requirement to label but other options should be sought and growers should be encouraged encouraged by consumers to move away from GMOs.

 @8Q2Y3QZ from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

yes they should be labeled, its important on what you eat. processed foods are very harmful, some foods can lead up to cancer.

 @8PZ7CZMLibertarian from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

The company should make the decision and the market will determine who is more successful.

It is already too late to have a comment on this but if it weren't it would be an absolute no.

 @8NMSZTWSocialist from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but there is nothing unsafe or dangerous about GMOs and the stigma against them should be addressed

 @8N8Y8V6 from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

This is a marketing stance, which the government agreed to not interfere with according to the constitution.

 @8MRGD52Republican from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

All foods are genetically modified, even organic food via hundreds of years of selective breeding, so no, I don't think they need to.

 @8KQLYT7 from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8JPSNR3Republican from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8HQFTV9Independent from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

This is wrong and unnatural and I do believe this is a contributing factor to many health concerns that benefits more than people understand include supporting big pharma, insurance, etc. very corrupt and again, keeping us dumb and fat.

 @8HPVG9Z from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8HH5RR9 from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

I find it more important that consumers know what their given foods can do to them rather than what’s in their food.

 @8HFZ5Q4 from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

it should be labeled however not banned and does not need to be labeled if used to solve hunger.

 @8FB6S5R from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, I trust the science of responsible food engineering and GMOs are a powerful solution to ending world hunger.

 @8F8L23F from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

Honestly, it doesn't really matter whether they do or don't. Also, you can usually tell either way.

 @8DYMYTQ from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

Neutral stance. We should be able to do our research and decide for ourselves if we want to personally consume GMOs and if those GMOs are good for you.

 @8DTBP8X from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8CGS5J2 from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

i mean. if people are curious enough to read the stuff on the labels i think yes

 @8C9XLPQ from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

 @9BFCLLJ from Arizona  answered…2yrs2Y

 @99LZQQV from Arizona  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, however producers should never be allowed to patent existing foods/treatments/seeds, nor shall they fine/sue for crop contamination unless intentional.

 @99GPN39Progressive from Arizona  answered…2yrs2Y

I agree with both trusting science as GMO, AND the fact that we've been genetically modifying food for millennia.

 @998W2GV from Arizona  answered…2yrs2Y

no idea it sounds weird but we probably all have GMO without knowing so i guess keep it so far it not doing any harm

 @985LFM3 from Arizona  answered…2yrs2Y

No GMO foods should be labeled because some people may rather want that option.

 @96Z4HBG from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

If they want to label it go ahead. Everything is technically genetically modified.

 @8JGZ62P from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8GPXWPX from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

It depends, at this time GMO represents two distinctly different consumables. The first have had the structure changed the second is selective breading. The latter should not be considered a GMO for plants or anything ells.

 @8DWY7XPLibertarian from Arizona  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, people have the right to know what is in their food and how it is being created. Many people really look after their diet and only eat certain foods so I think it is a goo idea to inform people about the food they are intaking and should be educated about this topic.

 @8TTT3C6 from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8X7MYZD from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8TD6RP9 from Arizona  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, consumers have a right to know what is in their food and no patent on food, food is for everyone not just for people with money. This also will allow companies to not hurt farmers who just have there own seeds that grow food. Also should not penalize people for what they want to eat.
