although it is nice to know if somethings a gmo or not, food is food. a pizza using tomato sauce made from a genetically modified tomato doesn't taste literally any different from normal tomato sauce.

while consumers do have a right, the government shouldn't force anything on a business the consumer can

Some companies are doing it willingly, so I would let the companies that are doing them keep doing it, and see if other companies hop on the train.

This should be encouraged, but not mandated. Public review and outcry will demand that producers list as many details as possible.

Yes, I do believe people should know what is in their food, but I don't believe that GMOs pose a danger to humans so far.
