The recreational use of cannabis has been legalized in 19 U.S. states and Washington D.C. Another 12 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands have decriminalized its use. Commercial distribution of cannabis has been legalized in all jurisdictions where possession has been legalized, except for D.C. Personal cultivation for recreational use is allowed in all of these jurisdictions except for Washington State and New Jersey. Proponents argue that marijuana sales bring in tax revenue for states and cut down on non-violent drug incarcerations. Opponents argue that marijuana is a powerful recreational drug that can lead to addiction and psychosis.

As long as someone doesn't try to pressure me into trying it I could care less about who uses it or what they use it for as long as they don't blow the smoke into my face and not smoke in areas where I ask them not to. That's my stance on the matter
@9DVSPK32yrs2Y
No, but release people serving a lot of time for marijuana offenses
@9BH4ZP32yrs2Y
Yes. Allow federal research. Let’s discover What health conditions, marijuana successfully treats. Then launch a robust and extend public health campaign to educate the public. Weed isn’t the answer to everything.
@933JQW73yrs3Y
No, but don't send non-violent users to prison for it.
@8RT3KR74yrs4Y

@8RNXNV44yrs4Y
Yes, along with all other drugs. Then release all prisoners in prison solely for drug "crimes". The federal government has no constitutional authority to regulate or make illegal drugs.
@8RJ7N9B4yrs4Y
Not just Yes, but HELL YES. Government has no business in what a person does and does not do with their own body. And immediately release anyone serving time solely for drug offenses
@AWeiseyyy24Republican2yrs2Y
Only for legit medical reasons. Figure out a way to strongly enforce laws against people that use it for any other purpose. It should be heavily regulated by each state.
@97K7L8B3yrs3Y
it's a combination of things. Medical use should be available to anyone that it could be a source of medical options. If Marijuana was legalized, it needs to be taxed, regulated and have restrictions same as alcohol.
@95LW4C3Independent3yrs3Y
Yes, cause even if you take away the right of drugs people will still find a way to get them and use them, instead of banning it get treatment centers for those who need them or may want them
@8RYDSCY4yrs4Y
Yes, it should never have been made illegal. The government has no constitutional authority to regulate or make illegal any drug. The only reason it was is because some wealthy and powerful industrialists felt threatened by hemp, which is where marijuana comes from.
@8RMG5LB4yrs4Y
Yes. And all other drugs, then immediately release anyone serving time solely for drug offenses.
@8RKDFWP4yrs4Y
