In my opinion, the topic of transgender athletes does not reflect deep societal values. Men and women are equal, but physically different.

 @9WQ4Y7JRepublican from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Two gender. Males and Females.. Males play mens sports. Females play girl sports.

 @9WQ3YRY from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9WPM753Republican  from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

yes, I personally think the idea of transgender athletes performing against members of a sex they were not born of is unfair for the competition

 @9WPLCZY from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

It is very unfair a male is naturally stronger than any girl. Males can get muscle faster than a girl and should not comete in a girls genre because it it UNFAIR!!

 @9WPGRC7Progressive from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9WMTXD8 from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9WMHDCN from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Yes. They are not women. Women have had to fight for equality in this country, and trans men are taking athletic opportunities away from women. They are not women, they are mentally ill men adopting the most superficial aspects of “womanhood”. It’s disrespectful, offensive, and unfair to real women. Especially in sports.

 @9WLMYCQ from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Transgender athletes should not be allowed to compete with the gender they identify as.

 @9WL8YRR from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I believe that the debate of wither Trans Athletes should or shouldn't is interesting. I believe they can but there can be things to make it more fair then just straight up not letting them be with Females or Males.

 @9WKVBGC from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I do not believe in Transgender Athletes, one of these reasons is because women fought so long for the right they have today and the sports they have today and yet men can say that they are transgender and play in the same divsions and sports as women which poses an unfair advantage because men are more advanced biologically.

 @9WHNHMJNo Labels from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I believe that what ever you were genetically born as is the sport you play for.

 @9WFWH58Progressive from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

No. People who are against transgender athletes are searching for a group to "other" and oppress.

 @9WFTFWK  from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Yes it does, I believe that biological men shouldn't be allowed to compete with biological women because men have different physical attributes compared to women which gives them an advantage when it comes to sports, and it is unfair to other biological female competitors.

 @9WFPYVM from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I don't know. It is up to the athletes that they are competing against to decide the fairness. I see both perspectives.

 @9WFPYVM from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

This is up to the males and females competing to decide, not for me. If a former man is now trans-gender and competing with women, it is up to the women he is competing with to decide if that is fair or not. I see both sides of the perspective.

 @9WFP7Y7 from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Yes...they should not be allowed to compete outside the sex they were born with.

 @9WFG9PB from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9WDHGJH from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9WDGQQSRepublican from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

The current debates regarding transgender athletes shows that fairness and equality have a divided opinion in America. Transgender athletes should not be allowed to participate in a gender-specific sport that does not align with their gender at birth due to distinct anatomical differences.

 @9WCYHC9 from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Yes. The reality is that female spaces need to remain that way. Men pretending to be women should never be allowed to invade female spaces and rob them of their accolades. This is happening all over the place and it is a true tragedy. Feminism and wokeism have combined to create an illogical and radically anti-woman doctrine in modern society. It is wrong.

 @9WBT8H9Republican from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

No, this reflects an agenda being forced upon the American people in order to influence our value system and weaken our society at it's core.

 @9WBR3QF  from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

It does not. It reflects an outsized focus on something that is misunderstood by most and frightening to some.

 @9W8FBWT from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

i belive there should be no trans athletes you have to compete in your biological genders confrnce or assoctoin

 @9W8GSDZLibertarian from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

No, In my opinion only biological women should be able to be in woman's sports.

 @9W8F4Y8 from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I believe the hormone levels cannot be to different from those of the gender they are playing with

 @9W85KJYLibertarian from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

It does not. The debate of transgender athletes can be easily disputed because men have an unfair biological advantage to women in every sport.

 @9W86LP4 from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

no its not fair because there can be a black guy on a women's team and he's tall reallly talll and black and fasttt usanbolt

 @9W7S5TN from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

no is not fair nor an equality, males are way stronger and should not be complementing with women and sames goes to for women

 @9W6Z8DK from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

transgender people should not be allowed to participate in the other sexes athletics. it is just wrong because genetically, a man and a woman have a different bodily build, therefore some give an advantage or disadvantage to the actual sex the athletic team is. Should not be allowed at all.

 @9W65GR3Democrat from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

If an athlete had a gender reassignment surgery, I believe they should play whatever sport in whatever league that they classify in. Leaving them out like that would be wrong.

 @9CBPJBWLibertarian  from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, but towards women who had fought for a chance to create and participate in a space without males. We've now destroyed that within Title IX, in the name of "Equity" and virtue signaling on not being able to define the differences between sex & gender for physical activities. Females have been constantly physically hurt or disadvantaged (losing) since the introduction of these policies.

 @9W4DN9FRepublican from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

No its about people not being good at sports so chopping their **** off to be able to win against women.

 @9W3FV5W  from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Men should not be allowed in women's sports, it is not equal and has been proven over and over again.

 @9W39QFV from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I believe Transgender Athletes shouldn't compete with the opposite gender they are because it can lead to many conflicts. I don't think its fair that a transgender male should be able to compete with an athlete women because its not given the same fairness since women compared to men strengthens isn't equal.

 @9W37V4Q from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Respectfully I think the athlete should perform with the gender they are assigned at birth.

 @9VZZ6NS from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9W2249R from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9VZZQVP from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I think that the transgender athletes in events that add great advantage because of weight and size should not be allowed.

 @9VZK555Progressive from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, the debate on the participation of transgender athletes in sports does reflect our societal values. Sports are inherently unimportant to us, yet we spend so much time debating issues like this. This shows how highly we regard fairness and equality, regardless of which side of the issue you are on.

 @9VZJCQL from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I think that trans athletes should have their own division and not be allowed to compete against the opposite gender.

 @9VZFXSM from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9VZFQ54 from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

The debate on transgender athletes reflects the consequence of too many freedoms. It is extremely dangerous and unfair for transgender athletes to compete in physical sports.

 @9VZDKFGWomen’s Equality from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

No I do not, because I belive it to be unfair if someone biologically man and switches to female now destroys all female competition.

 @9VZ8QQR from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9VZ8Z4P from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I'd you where born a male you should be a male if you were born a women you act like a girl period.

 @9VZ2ZNM from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Transgender athletes should not be allowed to compete in the opposite gender that they where birth into.

 @9VZ2XQV from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9VXYLLSDemocrat from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I do not think transgender people should be allowed because you are either a girl or a boy not anything else.

 @9VXH4RGRepublican from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Yes much of the debate does not stem from equity in sports but rather comes from transphobia

 @9VRV5PQ from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Transgender athletes as much as I back all my fellow trans americans and support policy that protects the rights of trans people. I do not think it is always fair due to the physiological differences between the sexes of male and female. I think the people are against it have different reasons why they don’t approve it, as in hating trans people. However, i agree in the sense that they should have their own league or something.

 @9VRJQ66Peace and Freedom from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I respect all people, but I don't agree with the idea of being transgender. I believe in 2 genders and a trans women is a man who wants to be seen as a woman while a trans man is a woman who wants to be seen as a man. The fact that a trans person is labeled trans shows the difference between them and a person who knows their gender based off their genitalia or chromosomes. Also, biological differences between men and women have been proven, so if men and women can't compete against each other in sports, then trans people shouldn't compete if they are the opposite gender of their competitors. So I think trans people should just acknowledge their true gender and see that they are wanting to be viewed as the opposite gender. But, I don't even watch sports so it wouldn't affect me anyway i guess.

 @9VQ68DKRepublican from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

No. Transgender athletes should not be allowed to compete in the genders opposite to the ones assigned at birth.

 @9VQLVZ6 from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9VQFJNMProgressive from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I'm not convinced there's an issue. Transgender people have become demonized and they deserve to have a fulfilling life as they see fit.

 @9VQDPTPDemocrat from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Men generally have greater muscle mass and strength due to higher levels of testosterone.

 @9VQC8ZM from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

as long as transgender athletes do not posses a upper hand in the sport they are participating in so it makes all sports fair

 @9VPYBS2 from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

No, transgender athletes should never be able to play in there non birthed sport.

 @9VPFMTJ from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Yes the current debate about transgender athletes reflects deeper societal values around fairness and equality since it provides an unfair advantage against female athletes.

 @9VNJFHY from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9VN64LK from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

It reflects on the deep seeded hatred which much of our society has for transgender individuals.

 @9VMNLP4 from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I think sports are stupid, and I think we need to allow those who want to compete in them to just have fun, instead of taking them so seriously. Who cares what gender they are.

 @9VMJ7N2Progressive from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, nobody has an issue with transgender men competing with biological men, it's exclusively an issue with transgender women competing with biological women. It's a fairness issue, not a discrimination issue. It also excludes women from succeeding when a transgender women beats them and puts women at risk in combat sports.

 @9VM8JYY from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I think that all people are equal no matter how they identify but everything should be fair and a person who has transitioned if they are much stronger then the other players it isn’t fair to ever else.

 @9VKM2RC from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, it definitely puts them at an advantage compared to other sex. Sex and gender are two separate things.

 @9VJ4WBQ from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9VHTC6F from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9VGCSQJ from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, people should play in divisions made for the gender they had at birth.

 @9V9V436Constitution  from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Of course. Born males have obvious physical advantages. Trans athletes should compete with their born gender.

 @9VB6B8T from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I think so, transgender athletes should be allowed to participate in whatever gender of sport they identify with also as a trans person, this is not an issue that should even be a debate, its not like trans athletes are transitioning just to compete in womens soccer, they just want to live a better and happier life.

 @9VB4WD8 from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, I believe that you should stay with your original gender in sports and that it shows that some people don't want equal rights they want more.

 @9V8DHB9Constitution from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9V84WMH from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Transgender athletes should not be allowed to play in the sport they are currently identifying with, it is wrong and will be the end of female sports.

 @9V6WTJF from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

no because we don’t care about women as a society getting less opportunities in sports until it involves a trans women

 @9V34HTY from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

It is unfair to allow male genes to compete against female genes and vice versa. This also applies to locker rooms.

 @9TX4XHM from Georgia  answered…10mos10MO

 @9TWG4YM from Georgia  answered…10mos10MO

No, it reflects the interests of conservative think tanks and media outlets in distracting the public from substantive issues and instead scapegoating trans people.

 @9TTP35ZRepublican from Georgia  answered…10mos10MO

You are one of two genders. And genetically you will always be that same gender. It’s assigned at conception. Therefore regardless of what you want to do physically, structurally and by DNA you will always be that male or female. Therefore compete with that gender.

 @9TQTV3P from Georgia  answered…10mos10MO

Personally, I feel like transgender people need to be in the sport that their original gender is. Because when a dude gets mad that he's losing in the men's races, so he decides to go to the women's races to win, that's just wrong. The bottom line is when it comes to men and women there is no equality, men are better in physical activity and women are better with mental, that's just how god intended it. Man and women complete each other.

 @9TN3S6W from Georgia  answered…10mos10MO

Yes it does reflect deeper societal value’s because the reason why people have a problem with it is has to do with equality and what they deem as “ equal and fair”

 @9THBYHC from Georgia  answered…10mos10MO

I strongly believe that once a women or man changes their gender and are confident enough to continue living the life they wanted. They should be treated the same as if they havent changed at all, maybe have different leagues based on the genetics of our original bodies.

 @9VYHDNP from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

No, a man is a man, and a woman is a woman. Either get rid of categories all together, or keep them separated.

 @9VXSJQH from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9VWPX4G from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

Transphobia is the newest xenophobia we as a society have to conquer. We'll (hopefully) look back on this in fifty years the way we do the Black Civil Rights era.

 @9VVD7X7 from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

 @9VSR26N from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

I am in complete support of transgender heathcare, co-ed sports, and transgender athletes. I find many transphobic arguments worrying and sexists, especially in this regard, which worries me.

 @9V9M9MHRepublican from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

i think they should not be able to compete with their new gender they should still compete with the gender they had at birth

 @9VC6QLZ from Georgia  answered…9mos9MO

In my opinion, I think that it shouldn't even be a discussion. According to SCIENCE, once a biological males go through puberty, they will be significantly stronger than a biological women, and therefore have a massive advantage. The fact that "woke" and "far-left" individuals feel that they have to agree with something as ridiculous and idiotic as this just to fit in with the standards of their political group, is absolutely astonishing. Imagine if you were the athlete who worked their entire life for something and it's taken away because sports organizations are scared of being "cancelled" by not letting them compete in there preferred category. None of this is common sense and as I said before, shouldn't even be a topic of conversation.

 @9TX8Y2R from Georgia  answered…10mos10MO

I believe it does. However I also think that a lot of peoples stances are based on science.

 @9TWCKRH from Georgia  answered…10mos10MO

 @9TPV4JN from Georgia  answered…10mos10MO

Yes. The idea that transgender athletes have a biological advantage is undermined by the fact that all athletes have different bodies with their own biological advantages.

 @9THRNVN from Georgia  answered…10mos10MO

No, because trans is a bad lifestyle choice you can't choose to be black or choose to be white.
